Fourteen-year-old Jaukeem Fortson’s incredible journey on The Voice has come to an end, but the young singer is already stepping into a future filled with exciting new opportunities. Known for his powerful and heartfelt performances, Jaukeem has captured the hearts of fans and judges alike, leaving a lasting impression on the show.
A few weeks ago, Jaukeem wowed audiences with his rendition of for King & Country’s “God Only Knows.” The performance was so moving that Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé were seen lifting their hands in worship, while Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani were nearly brought to tears. The band for King & Country quickly recognized his talent, reposting his performance on social media and calling themselves his “biggest fans.”
“My, what a powerhouse! At only 14?!! Consider us fans, Jaukeem,” the band posted on Facebook.
In his final performance on the show, Jaukeem sang Michael Jackson’s classic “Man in the Mirror,” earning a standing ovation from both the crowd and the judges. Reba McEntire praised his soulful interpretation, saying, “You put your heart and your soul into your singing. I’ve always been a big fan of that song. You made it yours. I love you with all my heart.”

Gwen Stefani also highlighted how much Jaukeem had grown during his time on the show, noting his improved body language and stage presence. Snoop Dogg spoke of the powerful connection he felt, stating, “You had a good time. I even seen you catch the holy spirit. That’s what it’s supposed to do. You’re supposed to take it with you everywhere you go. Thank you.”
Although Jaukeem was eliminated during the playoffs, he expressed gratitude for the experience and excitement for what lies ahead.
