The 71-year-old appeared on Fox & Friends on Thursday to promote his new sports venture with promoter Eric Bischoff, Real American Freestyle Wrestling.

Real American Freestyle events will feature single matches at eight men’s and four women’s weight classes. The first event is scheduled for August 30 in Cleveland, with other sites to be named in the coming months.

But it was the wrestling icon’s appearance that had people talking on social media.

While Hogan is known for his deep tan, his skin looked particularly weathered on air.

He was sporting a t-shirt emblazoned with the words ‘America first, beer second,’ and his usual red bandana on his head, with sunglasses on top.

Meanwhile his beard appeared to be dyed black while his goatee and hair were left white, offering an interesting contrast.

One viewer wrote: ‘tell Hulk Hogan his face is dirty, clean that soot off.’

Another said: ‘Does anyone believe this is Hulk Hogan?’

A third added: ‘Hulk Hogan giving off Wooly Willy vibes this am on Fox & Friends’

Hogan’s bizarre TV appearance comes after his family has been in a public fight on social media.

His ex-wife Linda Hogan accused the star of being ‘complete liar’ and ‘sex addict’ whose family is ‘in the worst mess’ after daughter Brooke cut both parents out of her life.

Lamenting the tough ’15 years since I left Hulk,’ Linda complained that her 36-year-old daughter Brooke ‘doesn’t talk to us.’

‘She’s had twins; she got married, she didn’t tell us,’ Linda said before referencing Hogan by his give name, Terry.

‘She had a huge fight with Terry. I don’t know how that reflected onto me. But she cut me out too. I haven’t talked to her for seven years – almost eight years now.’

As for the couple’s other child, 34-year-old Nick, Linda insisted he’s a rare bright spot in her life.

Despite admitting Hulk was ‘a s****y husband,’ Linda insisted that that reputation didn’t extend to his role as a father.

She told TMZ that the former wrestler was ‘always a good father’ who splashed out ‘over $3million’ on his daughter’s career.

Hogan and Linda were married for 26 years between 1983 and 2009.

He remarried in 2010, tying the knot with Jennifer McDaniel, but they split 11 years later. He married his third wife, Sky Daily, in 2023.
