VIDEO: Cameras Caught Skylar Diggins-Smith Intentionally Targeting Caitlin Clark With Dirty Body Check During Heated Contest
The rest of the WNBA might be in serious trouble now that Caitlin Clark has gotten some much-needed rest following the Paris Olympics break and is playing better than ever.
It was a feisty affair between the Indiana Fever and Seattle Storm over the weekend. Not only did Caitlin Clark receive a technical foul, but the two teams’ respective coaches, Christie Sides, and Noelle Quinn got into a back-and-forth by the end of the game.
All of that made people forget what happened when Storm star Skylar Diggins-Smith appeared to go out of her way to bump Clark in frustration.
Diggins-Smith could be seen purposely speeding up and veering right into Caitlin Clark at the last second as the rookie was motioning for the crowd to get louder.

The moment Clark fired up the crowd at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis happened in front of Storm’s bench.
Caitlin Clark is not your typical rookie. She does not rattle easily, and she possesses the skills to do whatever she wants on the basketball court.
This was Indiana’s and Seattle’s second game back from the Olympic break. Clark’s 29-point, 10-assist outing led the Fever to a 98-89 win over Phoenix.

Caitlin Clark Sets Another Rookie Record
The Fever avoided a season sweep from the Seattle Storm with an impressive 92-75 victory Sunday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
Caitlin Clark only needed two assists to break a 26-year-old WNBA record, and she had nine in this game.
She surpassed Ticha Penicheiro’s WNBA rookie record of 224, which was set in 30 games with the Sacramento Monarchs in 1998.
