The Sun can exclusively reveal Sunny recently paid off $996,014 in federal taxes.

Sunny and her husband, Emmanuel, were slapped with a tax lien for $261,821 in December 2014.

They paid off the lien in November 2021, Westchester County court confirmed to The Sun.

The couple was then hit with a lien for $641,724 in November 2014 and then paid it off November 2021.

The lawyer had a tax lien in just her name for the amount of $92,469 in April 2019 and paid off the debt in April 2021.

SHOW BOYCOTT

Despite paying off the tax lien, Sunny has dealt with fans threatening to boycott the ABC show.

Her co-star Whoopi, 66, has faced backlash with fans over her recent show blunders.

She said “a**” while talking about parenting on the daytime talk show on Tuesday.

Whoopi said: “Sometimes you have to be an a** to be a parent.”

The comedian’s language didn’t go down so well with viewers at home, with one writing on Reddit: “Whoopi and Sunny’s [Hostin] foul language was a bit much today.”

The user also called out the hosts for cursing while talking about tighter gun control.

“Between Whoopi using the word ‘b***hin’ and Sunny refering to Republicans ‘p**sing on her leg when it’s raining’ I had to turn off,” they wrote.

“I know they’re passionate about gun issues but this is daytime TV, not the Howard Stern show. Some people have kids home for the summer.”

Another posted on Twitter: “Does Whoopi really need to swear all the time?”

Others rushed to Whoopi’s defense over her bold statement, however, with one fan tweeting: “Yep! Kids won’t like all of your decisions but you gotta do what you gotta do.”

Another wrote: “LOVE Whoopi saying ‘sometimes you have to be an a** to be a parent.”

FIRE WHOOPI?

Whoopi got into hot water with fans in January after she claimed the Holocaust was not “about race.”

She was briefly suspended from the talk show, though viewers haven’t forgiven the actress for her remark.

A petition circulated on Change.org, insisting that Whoopi be let go of her hosting duties for her “repulsive verbiage and actions.”

Several concerned viewers, including the Democratic National Committee, started the petition, which states: “Whoopi has made numerous remarks about race that have ruffled feathers. But her most recent comment attacking victims of the holocaust and the entire Jewish community are disgusting.

“Apologies are not enough when it comes to things like this, This can and will not be forgotten.

“We as Americans demand that she be fired from the daytime tv show ‘The View’ for her repulsive verbiage and actions.”

The petition, created immediately following the January 31 episode, has enlisted nearly 40k signatures.

Whoopi currently stars alongside Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin and Sara Haines.
