Former Miami Dolphins cornerback Xavien Howard is in the process of finding a new team ahead of the 2024 NFL season.
But he’s likely finding the offseason difficult as he has to deal with another off-field issue that could result in serious penalties.
According to court filings processed on Wednesday and obtained by CBS News Miami, the four-time Pro Bowler has been accused of putting photos and videos of himself and other women engaged in sexual acts into circulation as a means of humiliation.
The two-time NFL interceptions leader has also been accused of sending the above to the son of one of the women.
A filing by “John Doe” notes that Howard had the phone numbers of the woman’s children so she could text him if her battery died. She would delete text between herself and the CB afterward.
It’s alleged that Howard sent “sexually explicit material” featuring the woman to her son at a time when they weren’t on good terms. The boy was a minor then and saw the media on his iCloud account after his mother deleted it from his phone.
Howard is said to have demanded an abortion after getting said woman pregnant.
Xavien Howard Facing More Allegations
A filing made by “Jane Doe” accuses the cornerback of sending multiple sexual videos and photos of different women to other people.
He said he wanted to “make her mad because she didn’t want to have sex with him” after being confronted.
The Miami Dolphins released Howard in March as a post-June 1 cut. He had three years remaining on his five-year, $90 million contract.
The move saved the team $18.5 million.
