Watch Faith Hill Dance the Night Away With Taylor Swift’s Mom at Final Eras Tour Stop In Toronto

In addition to Taylor Swift shedding a few tears in Toronto over the weekend, another standout moment from the set of shows was Faith Hill’s rare public appearance. Recently, Hill has been staying out of the limelight and teasing new music every so often.

However, it seems Hill made an exception to her rule and let loose for a night. That being so, who and what has the Taylor Swift effect not impacted? A question for another time, though, it seemingly completely got a hold of Hill and Swift’s mother, Andrea Swift in Toronto over this past weekend.

Faith Hill & Swift’s “Cruel Summer”

The moment in which Faith Hill is caught on camera is when she is joyously singing Swift’s hit song, “Cruel Summer.” Released on her 2019 album, Lover, Swift’s single has become a staple track in her Eras’ Tour setlist. Well, it seems the song’s relevance has extended far beyond the common fan, as Hill seemingly turns into an all-out fan girl during this Swift performance.

Standing alongside Andrea Swift, the two simply soaked in what the night had to offer. Which was good music, great vibes, and a chance to celebrate the woman they’ve known for a large part of their lives. Hill has in fact seen Swift grow throughout the entirety of her career, after all the song that made Swift famous was a song about Hill’s husband, Tim McGraw.

Thanks to Swift’s hit song, “Tim McGraw,” both McGraw and Faith Hil have seemingly become an integral part of her career both as mentors and friends. Matter of fact, Swift was an opening act for the couple on their 2007 tour, Soul2Soul. In full circle, the musicians all traded roles on Swift’s 2018 Reputation Tour, as McGraw and Hill joined Swift on stage as supporting acts.

Given Hill’s history with Swift and her recent public appearance, it seems the “The Kiss” singer might be Swift’s unofficial aunt. The moment confirmed two things—Faith Hill is loving life away from the spotlight and she is also a bonified Swifty. Who knows, maybe Swift will inspire Hill to finally release that music she’s teasing for quite some time.
