Taylor Swift made her second-to-last show in Toronto a memorable one.

On Friday, Nov. 22, the singer, 34, took the stage for her fifth show in the Canadian city and delighted fans by performing a long-awaited mashup of her tracks “Cassandra,” “Mad Woman” and “I Did Something Bad.”

In fan footage posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), the pop superstar began the surprise song section of the show by singing the opening lyrics to her The Tortured Poets Department track “Cassandra” to screams from the crowd.

Swift then transitioned into her 2020 Folklore track “Mad Woman” as she performed the mashup on her piano, before finishing with Reputation‘s “I Did Something Bad” to a huge reaction from the audience.

The musician’s performance of the song comes amid Swifties’ anticipation that the star will formally announce Reputation (Taylor’s Version) sometime soon.

Among those in attendance at the show at Rogers Centre included Canadian Prime Minster Justin Trudeau, who was spotted dancing in the crowd ahead of Swift’s set starting in fan footage and photos shared on X.

One night prior, Swift ended her show by giving her mom Andrea a long, sweet hug.

In a fan captured video, the “Cruel Summer” singer was seen walking off stage and waving to her fans as her mom waited by the backstage entrance. Then, Swift approached her mom and they embraced one another.

During the night four show, Swift performed mashups of “Better Than Revenge” from Speak Now, “Mr. Perfectly Fine” from Fearless (Taylor’s Version) as well as “State of Grace” from Red and “Labrynth” from Midnights for the surprise songs section.

At her Nov. 16 Toronto show, Swift brought out Gracie Abrams for a performance of their collaboration “Us,” which she did a mashup of with her own “Out of the Woods” from 1989.

Two days prior, Swift reflected on her six nominations for the 2025 Grammy Awards, including album of the year for The Tortured Poets Department — an award she’s won four times already.

“You guys did something so amazing over the course of the last few months,” she told fans onstage in a fan-captured video. “I just mean what you did with embracing The Tortured Poets Department, the album. It’s truly blown my mind because its really emotional for me that this album, I wrote it during the Eras Tour.”

“I wrote that album, made that album, all [while] trying to keep it a secret from you guys. And then [we] announced the album, and then we basically were, like, working really hard to secretly put together a new chapter in the Eras Tour of The Tortured Poets Department and we wanted to surprise you with it, and we did,” she recalled.

After reflecting on the album’s success on the charts, Swift added: “And the most recent thing that you did, because everything that happens is a direct reflection of the passion that you show, is you guys got this album nominated for six Grammys. It’s so unbelievable, so thank you.”

Swift’s final show in Toronto will take place on Saturday, Nov. 23. Then, the Eras Tour will officially conclude in Vancouver with three shows at BC Place from Dec. 6-8.
