“If I win I will be immortal,” Mike Tyson told Most Valuable Promotions. “If I do badly I don’t want to die in a hospital, I want to die in the ring.”
Despite Tyson’s message, alarming for some people, there is peace in the people who know the former boxer, like Gene Kilroy, the legendary manager of Muhammad Ali and friend of Iron Mike.
“This is the strongest physical shape I’ve ever seen you in, and I’ve known you since you were 13 years old,” Kilroy told Tyson. “I’m going to tell you the truth. I’m not lying. I was worried about traveling here. But now I can sleep peacefully. This is great.”
