HE Turki Al-Sheikh wants to give Wladimir Klitschko the chance to become the oldest heavyweight champion ever – breaking George Foreman’s record

Tyson Fury could be set for a rematch with Wladimir Klitschko in 2025, if he overcomes Oleksandr Usyk on 21 December.

The pair famously met in 2015 with the British heavyweight shocking the world by claiming the Ukrainian’s unified titles in Düsseldorf.

Klitschko was in talks for a showdown with IBF title holder Daniel Dubois but it appears the Saudis are now targeting a huge showdown with Fury if he is successful in the rematch with Usyk.

Roy Jones Jr. explains why a Fury vs. Klitschko fight should happen.

“Why shouldn’t Klitschko come back? Why not face Fury? It’s not like Fury is a killer puncher. I don’t know if Klitschko can win, but I think he has a chance. It just depends on how much his body has aged. But he has a chance,” said Jones Jr when speaking to Covers.

“You have to remember the Klitschko brothers are very strong, very good boxers. They’re intellectual guys who took great care of their bodies, so they should be fine to fight at any age.”

Back in 1994 George Foreman knocked out Michael Moorer to become the oldest heavyweight champion in history at the tender age of 45.

If Klitschko was to return next year he would be 48 until March 25th.
