You Won’t Believe What Came Out of Uncle Si’s Mouth! Hilarious ‘Duck Dynasty’ Star’s Top 5 Most Outrageous One-Liners & Cringe-Worthy Show Moments That Left Fans in Stitches – #3 Is Pure Gold!
Si Robertson, aka Uncle Si, is a national treasure who keeps us belly laughing with his sharp sense of humor.
“Duck Dynasty” became a household favorite when the Robertsons’ hit TV screens in 2012 and aired for 11 seasons. But no one made a bigger impression than Uncle Si, with his unfiltered, larger-than-life personality. Ahead of the A&E series reboot, ‘Duck Dynasty: The Revival,’ we are looking back at some highlights –or as we’d like to call them “Si-lights” – featuring Uncle Si’s most hilarious moments.

1.“I’m like Frosty the snowman, I’m melting down to my boots!”
You can always count on Uncle Si to say exactly what’s on his mind. During an episode, they lose A/C at Duck Commander on one of the hottest days in Louisiana. Of course, Si suggests it’s “too hot to wear pants,” and his nephews quickly shut his idea down. Instead, Si recalls the time he nearly had a heat stroke, adding, “The last time it got this hot, I blacked out. I woke up naked, and I was in a park!”
To take it a step further, Uncle Si puts a kiddie pool in the back of a pick-up truck to cool down. Willie Robertson and the crew refuse to get in the “Si-cesspool,” joking that Uncle Si bathes like once a month.
2. Every time Uncle Si couldn’t control his bladder
It’s a running joke on the show that Uncle Si would be a good candidate for research on urinary tract infections because he’s always got to go. Like the time, Willie and Uncle Si were handcuffed together, and before Jase could find a saw to get them out, Si needed to make a pit stop.
“I gotta pee.If you don’t pull over, I’m finna flood this truck,” Uncle Si screamed. To make matters worse, Uncle Si accidentally pees on Willie’s hand while going to the bathroom on the side of the road. In another episode, no one wants to share a bed with Uncle Si on a family trip for fear of his wetting the bed. Si unapologetically says you “can’t stop him from wheezing.”
Then there’s the time Uncle Si was making his own documentary about his life, unoriginally titled ‘For Your Eyes Only’ – named after a James Bond movie – and his own piece of advice was “if you sprinkle when you tinkle, clean and be neat. Wipe the seat.”

3. Uncle Si speaks Spanglish in Hawaii because he thinks it’s the native language
During the Robertsons’ trip to Hawaii, Uncle Si is talking to the hotel staff in broken Spanish because, as he says, “I’m what some people call cultured. I’m like a fine, stinky cheese. Just call me cheddar, Swiss, roquefort, brie.”
Uncle Si incessantly lets everyone know he’s the most “cultured man in the whole family,” before listing off the places he’s visited. According to Si, the self-proclaimed world traveler, he’s checked off Vietnam, Germany, and hilariously adds Boise, Idaho, and Shreveport, LA to the list. When running off fun facts about Hawaii, he claims the state is the “home of the burrito” before Jessica, Willie’s sister-in-law, shuts him down.
4. Uncle Si has great taste in music — especially if the song sounds like a meal
The Vietnam veteran is up to date on the hottest music, including “Meatloaf, The Cranberries, the Korn. Hey, a little Salt-N-Pepa goes a long way. And my personal favorite, Ice T. That’s good listening, man,” Uncle Si said.
And who could forget Uncle Si singing and dancing to Black Eyed Peas hit song ‘My Humps’? He explained why he loves the group and Fergie on the chorus, “Hey, look here, of course, I like the Black Eyed Peas. It makes me hungry when I say the name because, hey, you’d think it was a dish. But it ain’t. It’s a band.”
5. Si’s first time finding out about HR during Duck Commander training
The duck hunting crew takes a seminar with a female HR specialist on workplace behavior. As Uncle Si is addressing his hemorrhoids, he says he gets bullied at the Duck Commander warehouse because they call him an “idiot” at work. The best part he has no clue what HR stands for.
“Hey HR, ain’t a woman’s name!” Si said, and the expert explained Human Resources is her job title. Si then introduces himself, saying, “Mine is Si, S with a little I.”
The Robertsons are back for a new season, premiering June 1, without the family patriarch Phil Robertson, who died on May 25, just one week before the revival airs. The show will address his decline after being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.
