Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes are not only team-mates on the field for NFL franchise Kansas City Chiefs, the pair have sustained a long-lasting friendship over the past four years. And it appears their bond has only strengthened since Kelce began dating Taylor Swift in September, with the two taking their friendship to a new level at the weekend.
Kelce and Mahomes have often been spotted after games enjoying the company of their other halves, Taylor and Brittany, as the foursome enjoy jaunts out in Kansas City together, dining out or visiting a local venue.

On Saturday evening, Swift accompanied Kelce to an event at the Mahomes Foundation, with a charity gala put on by the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and for America’s power couple, it was a big deal.
A video posted to social media on X.com (formerly Twitter) by an attendee showed the couple holding hands as they make their way to their assigned table. Swift had dressed appropriately for the occasion, wearing a stunning emerald gown, while Kelce looked the part in a blue suit and white shirt with the top bottom opened up.
The poster described the couple as “super adorable” and “down to earth and kind” in the caption, also stating “NBD. Just T Swift and her man Travis Kelce.”
Another step for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce
Apart from Kelce‘s football games or Taylor’s concerts on the Eras Tour, the pair hadn’t attended any events in public together – spending time away from the paparazzi’s glare.
But Swift wanted to show her support for her boyfriend and his friends on what was an important day, and for Mahomes, he was delighted to witness her presence and is said to be glad that she is dating his close friend Kelce.
Maybe that has something to do with the 34-year-old popstar throwing in some free tickets to one of her shows, which only highlights her generosity. Event auctioneer Harry Santa posted a clip from the gala on Insta, writing: “@killatrav conviced @taylorswift to throw 4 tickets to The Eras Tour into the auction … which obviously crushed”.
The last-minute surprise tickets were auctioned for $80,000, with Kelce proudly letting the crowd know they were donated by his “significant other”, with the loved-up couple taking another big step in their romance.
