Kelce pondered retirement after February’s bruising 40-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
The 35-year-old put up career low numbers in receiving and touchdowns in 2024.
But he claims he is “ready to rock ‘n’ roll” after returning to training with the Chiefs last weekend.
NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal joined Travis and his brother Jason for a recent recording of hit podcast New Heights.
And Travis claims he is channeling his inner-Shaq ahead of the big kick-off in September.
“Wait till you see this year, baby,” Kelce declared, as talk turned to the 2025 season.
“I’m coming back with a little bit of Shaq f***ing p*ssed off [energy] and ready to rock and roll, man.”
Kelce caught just four catches on six targets for 39 yards in the loss to the Eagles.
Defeat for the Chiefs saw them miss out on a historic threepeat.
And Shaq called out coach Andy Reid for failing to use Travis enough in New Orleans.

“How come [Reid] didn’t use you a lot at the Super Bowl?” O’Neal asked Travis.
“I know you were f***ing pissed. Like, I don’t wanna get you in trouble, but because I know you’re on a team.”
“You already know,” laughed Kelce, remaining diplomatic.
“We were trying to use all the pieces, man.”
Kelce has a number of other ventures already on the go outside of his football career.
One of those is in acting with the tight end starring on both the big and small screens.
But for the upcoming season, he’s all about football – and quarterback Patrick Mahomes couldn’t be happier to see him onboard.
“If it’s the last ride, you never know,” the two-time MVP said.
“The way he’s talking about football, he’s trying to be even better than he was last year.
“He doesn’t seem like a guy who if it’s his last ride he’s tired of the job.
“He’s in there and he’s working. I know his body feels good, it feels better than even last year.
“He’s motivated to go out there and have an even better year than last.”
