Travis and Jason Kelce ‘close in on a MASSIVE $100MILLION New Heights deal’ after podcast surged in popularity amid Chiefs star’s Taylor Swift romance
Travis and Jason Kelce are reportedly on the verge of closing a nine-figure deal for their New Heights podcast to be picked up.
On Tuesday, the Wall Street Journal reported that the Kelce brothers have been in contact with Amazon-owned podcast network Wondery about potentially securing a $100million agreement for their weekly program.
Their potential lucrative deal comes as Alex Cooper is nearing her own $100m contract with Sirius for her ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast.
Trevor Noah is also in talks with Spotify for a deal to stream season 2 of his ‘What Now’ podcast. Meanwhile, Joe Rogan memorably inked a $250m deal with the platform for ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ in 2020.
As the podcast industry continues to grow extensively, the Kelces’ podcast found much success, becoming one of the most-listened sports podcasts across charts.
New Heights’ title has been relevant to its rise since the brothers started it in 2022. The undeniable success also connotates itself to Travis’ high-profile relationship with Taylor Swift.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end first publicly narrated his failed attempt to hand his number to the popstar on the podcast. Months later, the pair took over headlines and Swift’s cult-like fanbase flooded over to boost New Heights’ stream numbers.
While the length of the said deal remains unclear, the Kelces are reportedly not far from getting their price tag wishes fulfilled.
Since its founding, the podcast has taken many forms. From their usual conference-style format with each brother recording from different places, face-to-face episodes – including at a Philadelphia-themed pub in London – and a live show at the University of Cincinnati.
In the meantime, Jason – who retired from the NFL after 13 seasons in March – is gearing up to join ESPN as an analyst on ‘Monday Night Countdown.’
On the other hand, Travis is in camp as the Chiefs try to achieve a three-peat come February. Outside the field, the three-time Super Bowl champion landed a part in the new FX horror series ‘Grotesquerie’ and will host a spinoff of ‘Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?’
