The Philadelphia Eagles released a humorous throwback photo of Jason Kelce from the 2011 NFL Combine, while the center still has supporters waiting on his retirement decision

With the NFL Draft Combine in full swing, the Philadelphia Eagles shared a picture of center Jason Kelce from his time in the camp in 2011.

Kelce, 36, was a 23-year-old coming out of the University of Cincinnati when the headshot was taken. The team also included before and after pictures of Lane Johnson, Fletcher Cox, and Brandon Graham in the same post.

‘Came a long way since the Combine,’ the Eagles captioned.

Kelce’s scores in the 2011 Draft Combine included a 4.89-second 40-yard dash, a 30.5-inch vertical leap, and a 4.14-second 40-yard shuttle. He also reached a speed of 16.73 miles per hour in his 40-yard sprint, per Sportskeda.

Despite his involvement in the team’s offseason social media activity, there is still uncertainty around whether or not he’ll gear up for the Eagles next season.

Jason Kelce shared how is still ‘trying to figure out’ if he will return to the Eagles next season

Philadelphia had an impressive start to their 2023 season, winning 10 of their first 11 games. However, a late skid that saw them lose five of their last six – including a season finale loss to the Giants – sparked an outcry from the fanbase.

Following the 27-10 blowout against New York, Kelce and the Eagles ended their campaign in a wild-card loss to the Buccaneers. Immediately after the 32-9 loss, the center reportedly told his teammates that he was retiring.

Days later, he denied the rumors on his ‘New Heights’ podcast with brother Travis, claiming he is still trying to make a decision. In February, Jason opened up more about the situation in ‘The Big Podcast’ with Shaquille O’Neal and Adam Lefkoe.

“Still figuring it out. I think if I still want to play, I’m going to play. I think right now we’re not far enough away from the last game,’ he shared.

Over his career, Kelce made seven Pro Bowls and six First-team All-Pro selections. He also helped the Eagles win Super Bowl LII in 2017.
