On Friday, July 14, Michael Rubin attended the Shawn Carter Foundation’s 20-year anniversary black-tie gala in New York City, and he weighed in on the reports surrounding Kim Kardashian and Tom Brady’s rumored romance in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

“Honestly, they’re just friends,” Michael, who hosts a star-studded White Party each year for the Fourth of July, told ET’s Rachel Smith. “It’s just the crazy rumors that get out there.”

The Fanatics CEO continued, “Tom was with me a ton of the night and we were having fun, and Tom just doesn’t go out that much. It’s a rare sighting. And Kim doesn’t drink much.” He added that Kim had more drinks than she usually does during the party and that they “always want to laugh” at the Kim and Tom dating rumors.

Exactly one week after the star-studded all-white party, popular celebrity gossip blog DeuxMoi published a photo of Kim and Tom together at the Hamptons house. “I’ve been seeing some posts speculate whether or not Kim and Tom actually spent time together at the party, and I wasn’t gonna send this initially bc it felt creepy, but I do have a photo of them together, lol,” the insider wrote.

July 7, 2023: Insiders Deny that Kim and Tom Spent Time Together At the Party
New sources have shared details about the alleged interaction between Tom and Kim during Michael Rubin’s Fourth of July party. “[They] said hi briefly when she arrived at the party,” one source explained to People. Another agreed. “Kim and Tom barely even spoke at the party and barely even said hello,” the second insider said.

According to the first tipster, Kim was overheard dishing to her friends about how attractive Tom was. “Later in the evening, Kim had some liquid courage and was overheard telling friends she has a crush on Tom,” the source explained to People. An additional source chimed in, flat-out denying that there’s anything romantic happening between Kim and Tom. “They are friends and have a lot of respect for each other,” the source claimed. “Kim is very focused on her kids and her businesses and not in a relationship right now.”

In early May, rumors surfaced online that Kim and Tom were a little more than friends. Soon after, sources close to the Skims mogul and former NFL star denied that they were dating and revealed that their newfound friendship was mainly due to Kim’s desire to move into Baker’s Bay Golf & Ocean Club, an exclusive neighborhood in the Bahamas, where Tom has a home.

“Kim and Tom are friendly,” an insider confirmed to Page Six. “She phoned him and asked him for his advice on Baker’s Bay. She was later spotted being driven around the resort in a golf cart, but it didn’t belong to Tom, and he wasn’t in the Bahamas when she visited in May.

Another insider shared similar sentiments with People. “They have friends and business partners in common but are not dating,” the source claimed. “Kim is very focused on her kids, her businesses, law school, and preparing for American Horror Story, which starts production next month.”
