Shocking Duck Dynasty Mystery: The Untold Truth About Christine Robertson’s Absence – Was She Banned? Family Feud, Health Crisis, or Secret Scandal? Inside the Controversial Reason Si’s Wife Vanished From Your TV Screen!
Duck Dynasty: The Revival will bring the Robertson family back to television, but one family member who won’t be showing up is Si Robertson‘s wife, Christine Robertson. While Si is confirmed to be part of the Duck Dynasty revival, his wife has always steered clear of being on television.
The two met in December 1969 and have been married since 1971. They share daughter Trasa and son Scott, but Christine does not appear on the Robertson family’s reality show.
“I always told people, ‘She’s got better sense than the rest of us.’ But that ain’t the real reason,” Si told Us Weekly in 2024. “Sometimes we film 12 hours a day, and she’s just not healthy enough to go through the rigors of that.”
He added, “But, ah, it ain’t no big deal. She wants no part of it anyway. She’s been married to me for 43 years. The last thing she needs is to watch us on a TV show.”
From the moment Duck Dynasty premiered in 2012, fans had questions about Christine’s absence. At that time, Si debuted her on Facebook with the caption, “Everyone’s been asking so here ya go…This is me and my wife Christine, we have been married 43 years…Loved her then, Love her still, always have, always will….and you can take that to the bank, JACK!!”
Despite her aversion to the spotlight, Christine appeared on the Duck Room Call podcast with Si in June 2022. The two shared the story of how they met while Si was hitchhiking and Christine was a passenger in the car that picked him up. She also confirmed that he asked her to marry him several times before she finally said yes.
Christine admitted that her hesitance to get serious with Si was because doctors told her she was sterile, and she knew that he wanted kids. They eventually went to a fertility clinic where Christine found out that she had scar tissue in her uterus. Even after it was removed, doctors said she had a “one in a million” chance at getting pregnant, and she ended up beating the odds.
