Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and the Chiefs face Dak Prescott and the Cowboys on Thanksgiving
The Chiefs will be on holiday display, not only with a Christmas game in 2025 (Denver Broncos at Arrowhead), but also with a just-announced Thanksgiving meeting at the Dallas Cowboys.
The Kansas City Chiefs are going to be a holiday treat … times at least two.
The Chiefs might have lost some of their shine after the Super Bowl loss and the following free agency and draft periods, but that doesn’t mean they will suddenly be a bad football team.
Nor does it mean they will be anything less than a monster TV draw.
They do have Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid as a potent quarterback/head coach duo, after all.
And they will be on display, not only with a Christmas game in 2025 (Denver Broncos at Arrowhead), but also with a just-announced Thanksgiving meeting at the Dallas Cowboys.
Patrick Mahomes back in Texas for Thanksgiving? Delicious.
Some doubt the Chiefs’ ability to climb the mountain again after doing so in the last three consecutive seasons when looking at the 2025 season, but that doesn’t mean Reid’s team isn’t must-watch football.
Nor does it mean the doubts are at all justified. … as the Chiefs have developed a fine habit of so often proving their critics wrong.
Another coming schedule highlight as all the schedules and all the games will be announced on Wednesday night? Kansas City travels to Highmark Stadium, the scene of the crime for Buffalo last season, as Mahomes and Co. knocked the AFC East champs out of contention.
