Love Island Bombshell: Jeremiah’s Secret Pre-Villa Romance with Fellow Reality Star – ‘Worst Betrayal I’ve Ever Faced
You know you’ve made it on reality TV when the “not there for the right reasons” claims come out. Jeremiah Brown, a 25-year-old from Seattle, Washington, was one of 10 original contestants on Love Island USA Season 7 who joined on Day 1.
A week before the Season 7 premiere, Amiah Brooks, a contestant on Temptation Island Season 1, claimed that a man she was talking to ghosted her to be on Love Island USA. While Amiah didn’t name who the man was, fans speculated that it was Jeremiah based on the fact that the two follow each other on Instagram.
“I literally just found out the guy I’ve been talking to is on Love Island this new season. Why does this always happen to me?” Amiah said in an Instagram video. “I feel like I have the most mindblowing situations when it comes to finding love and liking guys.”

Amiah claimed that the last time she spoke to Jeremiah was on Friday, May 23, less than a week before the Season 7 cast was announced. “The last time I talked to this man was Friday. Friday!” she said. “He went on this random trip. I kept asking him like, ‘Why are you here?’ Because something in my intuition told me he was lying. I knew he was lying about whatever he was going to. I was like, ‘Why are you here? Why are you in this location? What’s going on here?’ And he literally said he was visiting his cousin who was having a baby. Lies! Lies! I get it.”
Amiah explained that, while she understood why Jeremiah didn’t tell her he was on Love Island USA, she was still “flabbergasted” by the news he would be in the Season 7 cast.
“He signed an NDA. Cool for you. He definitely liked me. He was so flirty with me, and I was definitely flirty with him as well,” she said. “I wanted to watch this season of Love Island too, and now I’m physically going to be sick. We literally went to the gym together, went to church together, got coffee together. We did hang out a couple times actually. I’ve been lied to before, but never like this. This is actually so crazy. I’m just truly shook and flabbergasted.”

She ended her video, “Every time I like a guy, something is terribly wrong, and in this case, he’s on a dating show just like I was. How could I be this dumb? I would’ve never guessed that in a million years. I literally just thought he was out there finding a girlfriend, which he is! My intuition was so right. I kept on asking. I feel so dumb. Why did I even like a guy in the first place? This is my fault. The drama!”
After Amiah’s post, fans flooded her comments telling her to surprise Jeremiah on the show as a Casa Amor bombshell. “girl if i don’t see you in casa amorrrr… 👀🫶🏻,” a user wrote, to which Amiah commented back, “YEASS.” “GIRL IF YOU DONT APPLY FOR CASA RIGHT NOW 😭,” another user commented. One more user wrote, “Girl put in your audition application we tryna see you in Casa 😂.”

But Amiah’s claims weren’t the only drama Jeremiah was involved in. After the Love Island USA Season 7 premiere, TikTok user @angeladjuarezz accused him of being her friend Sky’s former bully. “As it turns out Jeremiah from Love Island is @Sky old high school bully HAHAHAH @Love Island USA #LoveIsland #loveislandusa #jeremiah #season7 #loveisland2025,” Angela captioned a TikTok video of her and Sky watching Love Island USA Season 7, which ended with them remarking, “When did he get hot?”
“Hopefully he’s not as mean anymore haha,” Angela responded to a user who commented, “I had high hopes for him pls.”
Jeremiah was one of 10 original contestants on Love Island USA Season 7, along with Ace Green, Austin Shepard, Isabelle-Anne Walker, Chelley Bissainthe, Huda Mustafa, Nicolas Vansteenberghe, Olandria Carthen, Taylor Williams, and Yulissa Escobar. He coupled up with Huda on Day 1.
