Duck Dynasty Shockwave: EXCLUSIVE Revelations on Which Beloved Stars Are BACK for the Explosive Revival – and Who’s SNUBBING the Cameras! (You Won’t Believe #3’s Reason!)

Duck Dynasty' Star Shares Health Update Amid Father's Declining State

Duck Dynasty is returning to A&E — but not every member of the Robertson family will be featured in the revival.

The original show, which aired from 2012 to 2017, gave viewers an inside look at the lives of the Louisiana natives and their business, Duck Commander. In addition to patriarch Phil Robertson and his wife, Kay Robertson, the series followed Phil’s brother Si Robertson and Phil’s sons: Willie Robertson, Jep Robertson and Jase Robertson.

Willie and his family — including wife Korie Robertson, daughter Sadie Robertson and son John Luke Robertson — were at the center of the show’s run, which featured appearances from the family’s many relatives over 11 seasons.

After nearly 10 years off the air, Duck Dynasty: The Revival was picked up by A&E in 2025. This time around, Korie and Willie, their adult children and their grandchildren will be the focus.

“With their dynasty expanding into more than just ducks, Willie and Korie will bring their signature humor and family fun as they grapple with mapping out the future of Duck Commander, watching the kids navigate marriage, children and businesses of their own, and passing down the family legacy,” read the official logline.

Duck Dynasty: The Revival is set to premiere in summer 2025 and has landed a two-season order — with 20 one-hour episodes. Keep scrolling to see which Duck Dynasty stars are — and aren’t — returning:

After being a main cast member on all seasons of Duck Dynasty, Willie and his family are returning to the revival.

“The Robertson family has always been very open with their lives. Good and bad,” Willie exclusively told Us Weekly in March 2017, reflecting on the phenomenon surrounding their show. “When you’re vulnerable and say, ‘Hey, this is what we’re going through,’ that resonates.”

Korie Robertson

Willie and his wife released a statement about their return, which read, “Going back on A&E feels a little like going back home. We’re thankful for all who have followed along as our family has grown and expanded and can’t wait to get cameras rolling again on all our new adventures, or perhaps misadventures.”

The patriarch was briefly suspended from Duck Dynasty over homophobic comments made in a 2013 interview with GQ. Phil led his own show In the Woods With Phil after the end of Duck Dynasty and hosted the “Unashamed With Phil Robertson” podcast.

In December 2024, the Robertsons revealed that Phil was in the “early stages” of Alzheimer’s Disease. He died at the age of 79 five months later.

Phil’s wife is expected to make appearances on the revival. His family previously opened up about his health, with Phil’s son Jase explaining during an episode of their “Unashamed With the Robertson Family” podcast, “According to the doctors, they’re sure that he has some sort of blood disease that’s causing all kinds of problems. It’s accelerated and it’s causing problems with his entire body.”

Phil’s brother was named in the press release for the revival as well.

“The Robertsons earned a seat in homes across the country with their unique brand of downhome practicality, southern charm and relatable humor,” Executive Vice President and Head of Programming at A&E and Lifetime Elaine Frontain Bryant stated. “Duck Dynasty played a huge part of the success of A&E for many years, and we look forward to reuniting with the Robertsons on the revival.”
