Travis Kelce’s mom, Donna Kelce, has subtly shown her support for Taylor Swift—and fans are loving it.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end has been publicly linked to the pop superstar since September. This year, Swift has shown up to multiple Kansas City Chiefs games and, more recently, Travis Kelce was spotted at Swift’s Eras Tour show in Argentina. In a recent interview with the  the footballer revealed he got help from inside Swift’s team for the pair of them to finally meet.

Now in a video uploaded to Instagram on Wednesday, Donna Kelce has seemingly shown her support for the blossoming relationship. She is currently aboard a Celebrity Cruises ship and in the clip, she was showing her followers what her accommodation looks like.

“Come tour my room on the inaugural sail of the @celebritycruises Ascent ⚓️,” she captioned the post.

Nothing seems to get past Swifties, however, as they noticed that Donna Kelce was quietly listening to a song by the singer-songwriter in the background.

The song in question is “the 1,” which is from her eighth studio album, Folklore, released in 2020. Written from the point of view of one of Swift’s friends, the song describes the narrator’s newborn optimistic outlook on life and previous romance. Fans were quick to take to the comment section to share their thoughts on Donna Kelce’s song choice.

Newsweek reached out to Travis Kelce and Swift representatives for comment via email Friday.

“Featuring background music by her future daughter-in-law! 🥰,” one person wrote in hopes that one day the couple will be engaged.

“Not Mama Kelce listening to Taylor Swift’s “The 1″👏👏👏👏,” wrote another.

“But she’s listening to “the 1″ 😩 yasss momma K! You’re getting into the good stuff,” a different person commented.

A fourth added: “Just when I thought I couldn’t love Mama Kelce more, now she’s listening to my favorite album. Mama Kelce is the best! ❤️,”

This video comes after Travis Kelce revealed in his Wall Street Journal interview that his mom felt like she fumbled an answer about Swift when she appeared on Today in October. Donna Kelce was worried about how to best handle questions about Swift and her son as she didn’t want to ruin their relationship while it was new. According to the outlet, Donna Kelce felt she came off less than excited about interacting with the singer-songwriter.

During the Today interview, Donna Kelce was asked if their time in the box at the Kansas City Chiefs vs Chicago Bears game on September 24 was the first time she had met Swift.

“Yeah, it’s, you know, it’s fairly new, so I don’t like to talk about it. It’s just one of those things where obviously everybody saw me. I was in the boxes with her and it’s just, another thing that’s amped up my life,” Donna Kelce replied.

When asked directly what Swift was like, she responded, “It was okay.” She then went on to say she didn’t want to talk too much about her son’s life.

“It’s his personal life. I’ll talk about my life and when the kids were little when I was with them. They’re men now. And they’ve got their own lives and there isn’t a man alive that’s going to talk to their mom about their personal life, it’s not going to happen,” she said.

While training to not seem too excited, she was worried she came across as unimpressed, so her son called her to tell her that she had done a fantastic job. Now that the tight end and the pop star appear to be an official couple, Donna Kelce feels more comfortable commenting on the relationship.

“I can tell you this,” Donna Kelce told the Wall Street Journal. “He’s happier than I’ve seen him in a long time…. God bless him, he shot for the stars!”
