The Voice fans were thrown for quite the loop on Monday, when it was subtly revealed that Tanner Frick mysteriously left the show.

The show kicked off its 3-Way Knockout round on the new episode, with each judge – Snoop Dogg, Reba McEntire, Gwen Stefani and Michael Buble – pitting three singers against each other.

Buble went last, though host Carson Daly revealed that, ‘Tanner left the competition after rehearsals,’ revealing that only Sloane Simon and Cameron Wright would compete in the Knockout.

Hours before the episode, Frick, 26, cryptically posted a video on Instagram and TikTok, which includes audio for a new song, captioned, ‘Ain’t nobody want me anyway.’

Fans were quite stunned at the reveal, taking to X along with Frick’s Instagram and TikTok posts to share their thoughts and ask why he left the show, which he has yet to answer publicly quite yet.

While his exit was revealed in just a matter of seconds and not expounded upon further during the show, fans had plenty of questions on social media.

Tanner’s Team Buble teammate Cameron Wright was picked as the Knockout winner by the coach, though Buble used his only Save to keep Sloane on his team.

Elsewhere in the episode, Austyns Stancil beat out Team Snoop’s Christina Eagle and Jake Tankersley, though Snoop used his Save and all 3 other judges used their Steal, though Christina ultimately stayed on Team Snoop.

Jake was also stolen by both Reba and Gwen, though he chose Gwen since she used her only block to keep him from Reba.

Reba picked Adam Bohanan in his Knockout against Jaukeem Fortson and Cassidy Lee, though Jaukeem was stolen by Buble.

Jose Luis was picked byGwen over Camryn Brooks and Deon Jones, though they weren’t stolen by other judges.

The Voice returns Tuesday, November 12 at 8 PM ET on NBC.
