A WHEEL of Fortune contestant shocked the audience and even made Pat Sajak gasp with his NSFW guess on Thursday.

On the popular US game show, the three contestants had their eyes on the prize by trying their best to figure out what phrase was on the board.

At the beginning of the episode, Wheel of Fortune started with the $1,000 Toss Up.

As the letters were slowly popping up, player Marcus was the first to ring in.

“Right in the butt?” he said.

As the crowd, the other contestants, and host Pat Sajak, 77, all gasped and laughed, the answer was incorrect.

“No,” Pat said a few seconds later in a serious tone after putting together what Marcus said.

Meanwhile, Marcus looked embarrassed and placed his buzzer down.

“What?” contestant Tyra, on the far right, cried out, while the player in the middle, Blake, laughed.

Moments later after the crowd stopped laughing from the previous guess, Blake got the answer correctly, which was “This is the best!”

“Much better answer,” Marcus said to Blake while clapping at her win.

Since the moment aired on TV, it later went viral on social media with one fan writing, “Welcome to the Wheel of Fortune Hall of Fame.”

Wheel of Fortune host timeline

Premiering in 1975, the beloved game show has had a few different iconic hosts in its nearly 50 seasons.

1975 – 1981 : Chuck Woolery was the original host of Wheel of Fortune until he departed in 1981.

1981 – June 2024: Pat Sajak took over and became a beloved Wheel of Fortune host for over 40 years.

September 2024: Ryan Seacrest was declared the newest host as Sajak announced his retirement.

Others commented that Marcus may have thought right was spelled “rite” in that moment.

“Bro this is crazy,” a seventh exclaimed in all caps.

BYE PAT!

Unfortunately for Pat, he won’t be able to hear any more X-rated guesses on the show as he is retiring after this season comes to an end.

In 2023, he announced that he would be saying goodbye to the game show after being its host since 1984.

It was later revealed that American Idol host Ryan Seacrest, 49, would take over his spot.

Meanwhile, Vanna White, 67, will continue her job as the letter presenter.

Ryan will begin his hosting duties this Fall.
