Maggie Sajak could step in if Ryan Seacrest walks away from Wheel of Fortune
Wheel of Fortune’s Maggie Sajak could take over for Ryan Seacrest if he steps away from his hosting duties.
The insider reported: “Sony loves the ratings and wants to negotiate a much longer contract for Ryan. But right now, they have to have contingency plans in place in case Ryan simply decides to move on.”

Maggie also recently passed the bar exam and shared the milestone with her fans.
“Thank you to everyone who supported me through this journey,” she posted. “Excited to do some good with this in the future.”
Fans first saw Maggie take the stage in May 2023 when she temporarily filled in for Vanna White, sparking conversations about a long-term role.
Even Vanna gave Maggie her blessing, saying: “I think she’s a good replacement if I can’t be there for some reason. She’s been around it her whole life.”
The insider disclosed: “She’s already proven herself to be a super-valuable member of the Wheel family, especially during this time of transition.”
