Amid fans’ concerns regarding her education, it seems that her new album is titled to pay homage to her father’s debut album, The College Dropout which was released in 2004. While working on her debut album is quite a big step in her musical career, she has already made her musical debut during the launch party of his father’s new album, Vultures. She joined the 46-year-old rapper and his collaborator, Ty Dolla $ign on the Miami stage to sing along to their track.
Even though she is keen to pursue her musical career, she is quite ambitious and may surpass her mother as she aspires to own her parents’ empires. In a Q/A interview for i-D Magazine, she revealed her big plans stating,
“A basketball player, a rapper, um… Well, when I was seven, I wanted to be a boxer. But now I don’t want to be a boxer. I’m going to do art on the side.”
She added,
“So a rapper, a basketball player, and I’m going to make artwork that I sell. Also, one day I want to own Yeezy and SKIMS, and I want to be a business owner.”
It looks like she has already planned her future goals and has already started working on them. Other than that, she has also shared a keen interest in fashion as she deems herself a style icon in the same interview.
