Travis Kelce’s Ex-GF Kayla Nicole Explains Why She Will Never Date Travis Kelce Or Any Other Athlete Again (VIDEO)

Nicole, who previously dated Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, recently made an appearance on the “Behind the Likes” podcast and defended her post about Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts while also speaking on who she wants to date in the future.

Kayla said “Never say never,” but she “wholeheartedly” believes she’s “out of the athlete stage.”

“I would love to just date someone that…I do think I’m attracted to men in positions of power and I also think that those types of men are attracted to me,” she said (via Page Six) before adding that she’d “love” to date a record label executive or a producer.

“Like, let’s date night, be courtside, that’s my kind of guy,” Kayla added. “I don’t really need to go to any more sporting events.”

Nicole used to be a regular at Kansas City Chiefs games alongside Brittany Mahomes in a suite to watch their men play. Even though Nicole and Kelce broke up several times, they would always make up and get back together. Their last breakup proved to be the final one as he moved on to dating Taylor Swift.

Travis and Kayla dated in 2017 and eventually stopped dealing with each other exclusively in 2022. Many reported on allegations that their split had something to do with Travis making her pay for “half of everything” and being “cheap,” which he fully denied.

“You’ve got to be crazy if you’d think I would never help or gave her a couple thousand to grab some food or she gave me some money to go get some food,” he said of the rumors at the time. “We were in a relationship for five years. A hundred dollars here, a hundred dollars there wasn’t even thought about.”

Kayla has since spoken about the split in light of Travis dating Taylor Swift while explaining why she had to unfollow her close friend Brittany Mahomes.

“To everyone it’s like, ‘Oh, you broke up a year ago,’ and that meant it’s like a light switch, you turn it on and off and everything goes dead and black and you don’t ever speak to anyone ever again,” she explained to People. “That’s not reality. I have ongoing relationships with all parties involved.”

Kayla added that she and Brittany have “a lot of history and friendship,” but that “because things are happening so quickly and so publicly, I have to protect myself. That’s really all that is. The love is still there.”

Kayla has not been in a relationship since her split with Kelce. It is hard to ignore her ex moving on since everything they do becomes a major headline in the media.
