Travis Kelce invited to sing ‘Friends In Low Places’ at Garth Brooks’ bar opening in Nashville after drunken rendition at Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade: ‘I’ll send a plane’
Country singer Garth Brooks has offered to fly Travis Kelce over to his bar opening in Nashville next month after the Kansas City Chiefs star’s drunken rendition of ‘Friends In Low Places’ at their Super Bowl parade.
A boozy Kelce could barely speak while trying to sing Brooks’ famous 1990 song at the Chiefs’ parade, where he was held up on stage by his teammates as the celebrations clearly took their toll.
The likes of Patrick Mahomes and Chris Jones eventually stepped in to take the microphone from their worse-for-wear colleague, who had been toasting their Super Bowl triumph with a day of heavy drinking.
And after watching the hilarious moment last week, Brooks has invited Kelce to lead a more sober rendition of the song at his Friends In Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk opening in Nashville on March 7 – even offering to send a plane for him and any guests of his choice.

Brooks says he was blown away to see Kelce’s rendition of the song and has invited him to sing it at his bar opening on March 7
He said on the latest episode of his weekly live series on TalkShopLive: ‘Did you guys see Travis Kelce’s version of “Friends in Low Places?” Did you see him sing this? I loved it, I thought it was fantastic.
‘It blew me away because I’m sitting there watching it as it’s going down, right? I never expected that.’
Brooks then continued: ‘Big man, I’m just telling you this. I will be at [the] grand opening if you’re there,’ Brooks told Kelce.
‘I’ll send a plane if you want and come and get another shot at the title. If you want to come sing that, I’ll send a plane.
‘You can come by yourself or bring your brother or your gang, whatever you want to do. The plane holds 11, just remember that. So, yes, I’ll be happy to send this invite out to you if you want to try a little ‘Friends in Low Places’ in Friends in Low Places.’
Unfortunately for Brooks, Kelce is currently en route to a reunion with girlfriend Taylor Swift in Australia after wrapping up his Super Bowl celebrations.
Swift had hit the road again to take her Eras Tour Down Under, performing in Melbourne last week just days after cheering on her NFL beau at the Super Bowl – but Kelce had stayed behind in Kansas City for the Chiefs’ celebrations.

The songstress is continuing to perform her Eras Tour in Sydney, Australia this week
But on Wednesday morning, the three-time Super Bowl winner was aboard a private jet destined for Sydney, where the songstress will continue her sold-out show this week, according to TMZ.
The tight end had returned to Las Vegas – the site of the Chiefs’ third Super Bowl victory in five years – Tuesday, just over a week since hoisting the Lombardi Trophy at Allegiant Stadium.
