Kelce’s longtime agent, Mike Simon, negotiated the deal, as reported by NFL journalist Tom Pelissero. Pelissero mentioned, “Kelce now has guaranteed money in 2024, with additional money vesting year-by-year. He’s signed through 2027, when he’ll be 38.”
The infamous ‘significant other’ of the renowned pop star Taylor Swift, surpassed Darren Waller of the New York Giants, who was the former highest-paid tight end in the NFL with a salary of $17 million per year. The 34-year-old earlier ranked fourth on the list with an annual contract value of $14.3 million.
Confirming the renewed deal with their star player, Kansas City Chiefs official social media handle announced, “We signed the greatest tight end ever to a new contract.”
