Trump border czar Tom Homan mocks Joy Reid’s claim that deportation raids are ‘performative’: ‘Dumber than a box of rocks’
President Trump’s no-nonsense border czar Tom Homan delivered a verbal haymaker on MSNBC’s Joy Reid, going after the liberal commentator on Fox News’ “Jesse Watters Primetime” Tuesday night in spectacular fashion.
Watters queued up a clip of the far-left activist news commentator grousing on her nightly show about the Trump administration’s sweeping nationwide immigration raids, which Reid dismissed as “performative.”
New York Attorney General Letitia James, who was Reid’s guest that night, called the government “reckless” for the raids, which have so far snared more than 4,500 violent criminals including convicted murderers, gang members and kidnappers.

Reid called the immigration raids “performative.” MSNBC
“She’s dumber than a box of rocks,” Homan deadpanned before meticulously dissecting Reid’s shaky premise.
“What ICE did in Chicago is saved children. What we did in New York today is save children. Just in Chicago alone we arrested at least nine sexual predators, most of them child sex predators. We took them off the street,” he said.
“Under Biden, we had a 3,500% increase in people on terrorist watch lists. No, we’re saving this nation. We make America safe again. So they need to get out of the way because we’re coming. We’re going to do it. They’re not going to stop us.”

The sweeping raids taking place around the country are targeting illegal immigrants with violent criminal convictions for deportation, making good on a campaign promise by Trump to make American cities safer.
Reid’s nightly unhinged anti-Trump screeds have made her a frequent punchline among media observers, and she was even recently forced to take a pay cut in order to remain employed by the struggling cable news network.
