Tom Cruise’s latest Mission Impossible stunt has fans in disbelief.
The Mission Impossible X page shared a video of the stunt, which shows Cruise holding onto the wing of an airplane surrounded by strong winds.
“8000 ft with 140 mph winds. No CGI. #MissionImpossible – The Final Reckoning #FilmedForIMAX,” the page wrote.
The video, which was posted on April 17, 2025, racked up more than 250,000 views in just a few hours.

A trailer for Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning previously racked up 25 million views.

The trailer shows another view of the stunt with the biplane, capturing Cruise dangling from its wing. It also contains several other scenes with biplanes as well as other stunts, including several underwater scenes.
“In need you to trust me, one last time,” Cruise says at the end of the trailer, which was shared on Paramount’s YouTube page.
“When I was 20 years old, I watched Tom Cruise running in movies. Now that I’m almost 40 years old, Tom Cruise is still running in movies like there’s no tomorrow for him,” a fan noted in the YouTube comment thread.
