Sofronio Vasquez makes it to ‘The Voice’ US finale
Sofronio Vasquez is in!
The Filipino singer made it to the finale of “The Voice US” singing competition after his gorgeously controlled performance of Elvis Presley’s “I Can Dream.”
“Thank you so much to my Filipinos everywhere and in America who gave so much love and support,” he wrote on Facebook shortly after securing a spot in the Top 5.
“Grabe kayo. One last voting next week for Finale. Please continue to pray for me,” he added.
Sofronio belongs to team Michael Buble, who produced two of the five finalists.
On Instagram, the Canadian coach said he was “Still riding the high from last nights Live show.”
“To see both Shye and Sofronio make it to the finale was incredible,” he added, giving a shoutout to his finalists, Sofronio and the 18-year-old Shye Roberts.
“All three of us are excited and nervous for next week. BIG thanks to all who voted we appreciate you so much!”
Rounding up the finalists of “The Voice US” season 26 are Danny Joseph (of Reba McEntire’s team), Sydney Sterlace from team Gwen Stefani and Jeremy Beloate (of team Snoop Dogg).
The finals of “The Voice US” will take place next week on December 9 and 10.
