The Voice: LeAnn Rimes moved to tears by audition

Following the performance, the audience erupted into applause while a tearful LeAnn praised the singer, exclaiming: “I’m crying! You moved me to tears! That was beautiful.”

Upon learning that Deb Orah was a teacher from Kent, LeAnn continued to shower her with compliments, stating: “Your voice is so stunning, you really did move me to tears.”

Fellow judges Danny Jones and Tom Fletcher also praised the heartfelt performance, with Tom commenting: “It’s not just you that feels it, we all feel it.

“To be able to do that when none of us are looking at you, we were just feeling those emotions through your voice.

“We have this thing in the studio where we say goosebumps don’t lie. Within the second word you sang all of the hairs on my arms stood up.”

After revealing she sang in church, Deb Orah seemed to have won over all the judges, with many vying to have her on their team, reports the Mirror

The star then lavished praise on the teacher, expressing her eagerness to mentor Deb Orah and push her vocal talents.

Despite efforts from all judges to win her over, the 28 year old ultimately went with her gut, declaring: “I am going to go with LeAnn.”

This year saw LeAnn and McFly stars Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones join the show as the boyband members became the first UK mentors with a double chair.

Ahead of the series, the pair said: “To be making The Voice UK history as the first ever double chair combo is going to be epic and we’re both ready for the challenge.

“And of course, we couldn’t ask to be in greater company than our fellow Voice family members Emma, will, Sir Tom and LeAnn. Roll on the talent!”
