Right after the finale aired on the east coast, The Voice shared a video of who won to their Instagram page.

The video began with the final five contestants and the words “The Voice winner announced in…” while counting down from 3, 2, 1.

Once it got to one, the screen changed and a picture of Asher appeared on it.

“Congratulations Asher HaVon,” the post read.

“The moment we’ve all been waiting for… make some noise for your Season 25 winner of The Voice @asherhavon,” the reality show captioned the post.

This also meant that Reba McEntire won the season as she was Asher’s coach.

The final five were Bryan Olesen and Nathan Chester from Team John Legend, Josh Sanders and Asher HaVon from Team Reba, and Karen Waldrup from Team Dan + Shay.

Both Josh and Asher made it to the final two, guaranteeing Reba a win.

Chance the Rapper did not have any of his team members make it to the finale.

NO SPOILERS!

With some fans watching from the West Coast or others not watching until the next day on streaming, some were mad that the show had spoiled who won.

The Voice streams on Peacock the next day.

“Ya’ll forgot whom have been watching on Peacock, DAY AFTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” one Instagram user said.

“Pisses me off that they post this before the show comes on in California!!!!!!” said another.

However, others were happy that they knew who the winner was, so they didn’t have to watch the finale.

“Thank you! Now I don’t have to sit through all of that just to find out who won,” one fan said.

“Good! I don’t have to watch now,” said another.

The live finale was two hours long filled with performances, looks backs, and more until the winner was crowned during the last two minutes.

‘NO WAY’

Most Voice fans were happy that Asher won, but others think that one contestant was robbed of the win.

Fans were angry that Nathan came in fourth place.

He said during his time on the show that he wanted to “bring back James Brown-style Motown.”

Nathan sang the Isley Brothers’ It’s Your Thing and A Song For You by Leon Russell on Monday.

On the finale, the cruise ship singer sang When a Man Loves a Woman by Percy Sledge with his coach, John.

Fans were shocked that he did not win.

“Nathan was robbed. No way 4th place. Should have been #1 or #2,” one X, formerly Twitter, user wrote.

“Nathan in fourth place doesn’t sit right with me,” said another.

“Nathan was top 2 let’s be honest!!! America y’all can never vote correctly,” a third added.
