Adam Bohanan, Christina Eagle, Danny Joseph, Jan Dan, Jeremy Beloate, Shye, Sydney Sterlace, and Sofronio Vasquez all took to the stage in front to judges Reba McEntire, Snoop Dogg, Gwen Stefani, and Michael Bublé.
Singing a solo song first to show off their talent, each then performed a second track, but this time with Sting – who served as a Mega Mentor for Team Snoop and Team Gwen.
However, viewers were up in arms over the way the show played out, with many sharing the same complaint about the sound.
Taking to social media, fans slammed the show for being “so loud” which impacted the way they heard the singers.
On X one wrote: “#thevoice Why tf this ‘background’ music so loud? I can’t even hear the singers.”
Another added: “They always have the music way too loud during the lives for whatever reason. So loud I couldn’t even hear Carson taking us to commercials.”
While a third said: “The audio is awful on the show tonight. All you can hear is echo and background music.”
Meanwhile, on Reddit, fans were quick to agree.
One penned: “Maybe I need a new TV, I’m also kind of grateful because I’m not enjoying the singers, but I also can’t hear them sing. Turn up the mics.”
A second wrote: “Happens every season for some reason.”
A third added: “The Voice is always like that. I have to max my speakers to hear. Every other show I have the volume at like 60%.”
While a fourth commented: “The band is so loud OR the singers are so bad they are covering them up. Annoying that the background drowns the voices.”
RESULT PENDING
The general public will now have their say, with the viewers’ vote taking place right now ahead of tonight’s show.
Four of the final eight will then be crowned as the top four, while the remaining four will be the winners of this season’s Instant Save.
