The View shocks fans with multiple abrupt show changes that left viewers both furious and delighted

THE View fans have noticed the show made a couple of changes to its usual program for Wednesday’s broadcast.

One of the switches had viewers fuming, while the others had them excited.

The View abruptly changed up the show in an effort to work around Thanksgiving on Thursday.

After the hosts all sat down at the start of Wednesday’s show, Whoopi Goldberg welcomed viewers to the show, per usual, but then fans noticed another small addition to the moment.

They realized the episode had been “previously recorded,” as it was noted as such in the bottom corner of their TV screens.

Despite the holiday not being until Thursday, the hosts were still given Wednesday off, as well, and had pre-taped the show the day prior.

One upset fan tweeted: “Previously recorded again???”

A second sarcastically wrote: “Saw today’s show is taped. Of course it is.”

Though viewers were upset to find out that the day’s show wasn’t live, there was another abrupt change that had them delighted.

They also noticed after the hosts all came out on set that there weren’t only five of them but all six.

While there are six permanent co-hosts on the cast, only five are normally on at once, with some of them circulating out.

But, on Wednesday, stars Whoopi, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin were all on the show together.

Usually, Ana is only there on Mondays, when Joy is off, and on Fridays, when Whoopi is off.

Ahead of Thanksgiving, for a holiday-themed episode, The View decided to have all of its six hosts at the table together.

One happy fan gushed on social media: “All 6 ladies on. Love it. Do this more.”

While The View fans were at least given a new episode, though pre-taped, on Wednesday, they won’t be treated to as such for the rest of the holiday week.

On Thursday, a repeat episode featuring the cast of ABC’s Shark Tank from October 23 will air.

Meanwhile, Friday will see another old October episode with Morgan Freeman re-airing.
