It started with the show’s executive producer Brian Teta mentioning Joy Behar’s story about when she got into a heated debate with former President Donald Trump supporters outside of Trump Towers in New York City.
Sunny, 55, then recalled a time when she got into a screaming match with several people while with fellow panelist Ana Navarro, 51.
“I was outside our building, and some of the construction workers started yelling at Ana [Navarro] and me, ‘Trump 2024!’ And I was like, ‘He’s going to jail!'” the TV star said.
Sunny admitted the outburst was out of character for her as she typically doesn’t engage with others that way on the street.
“And I’m like, ‘What am I doing?’ There’s no upside. I don’t know why I did that. Ana just kept on walking, and I was like, ‘You need to watch the January 6th committee hearings instead of yelling at women!’ I went crazy,” she said.
The mom of two confessed that the argument got so heated that security eventually got involved.
“Poor Sammy, our security guard, ran out because I’m yelling at this guy. He was totally taken aback,” she exclaimed.
SHADY VIEW
The View fans are used to seeing Sunny fight for her beliefs as she regularly battles her co-hosts on the show.
Sunny, Ana, and Joy, 81, are on the panel alongside Whoopi Goldberg, 68; Sara Haines, 46; and Alyssa Farah Griffin, 34.
Last week on the podcast, Sunny called out Ana and Joy for supposedly stealing her vacuum from her dressing room.
“I bought my own vacuum cleaner, and I noticed it was missing…for a while. It reappeared…and it had a lot of dirt in it,” the TV personality explained.
“It looked to me like dog hair,” Brian replied, aware of what had happened.
“It looked like Bernie Behar’s dog hair or Cha Cha’s dog hair, okay?” Sunny continued, mentioning her co-hosts’ dogs, who are frequently at the studio.
“So someone, I don’t know which owner. I don’t know whose assistant stole my vacuum cleaner…It was very shady,” she said.
Brian further added fuel to the fire by suspecting that the guilty party was most likely someone on the panel.
“I will say it’s unlikely anybody other than a host took the vacuum because I don’t think anyone else would be so daring,” he theorized.
“I’m going to accuse Ana Navarro,” Sunny settled, though she repeatedly said that Joy could also be the culprit.
MATCH-MAKING
Despite Sunny’s accusations toward Ana, she displayed a very different attitude on a recent episode of The View.
While recapping their Thanksgiving break, Ana revealed she traveled to Panama for the holiday.
She also enthusiastically shared that she used an underwater scooter called a Seabob to propel herself through the ocean.
“I’m telling you, I want one in every color for my bathtub!” the TV personality gushed.
As Ana described her experience riding the scooter, Sunny interjected with a shocking comment.
“If you were younger, you really should date my son,” the New York native said.
Sunny and her husband Emmanuel are parents of a son, Gabriel, 21, who recently injured himself riding a scooter while away at college.
“Sweetheart, your son might want an older woman,” Ana suggested.

“Not me!” the host clarified. “If I live to see Gabriel with a cougar!”
“How much time you got?” moderator Whoopi joked before cutting to a commercial.
