Why ‘The Voice’ Judges Sent Crystalla Gonzalez Home
The Voice Season 26
Season 26 of The Voice has only just begun. For those unaware, this season’s judges are returning coaches, Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani. The first-time coaches and the unlikeliest of friends are Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé.
After the first episode gave surprises like the use of Reba McEntire’s Replay Button for this season, performers being sent home are still getting to perform with their idols. However, they are still forced to leave the competition.
The series is well known for its judges acting as coaches and the judgment of performers solely on their voice to add the hopefuls to their teams. Unfortunately, there are times when no one turns their chairs. Sadly, even when there are talented singers, the show can’t take everyone.

Crystalla Rocks The Stage
Crystalla Gonzalez performed “Heartbreaker” for her blind audition on The Voice. The performer was hoping Gwen Stefani would turn her chair and she could join the iconic singer’s team. However, the rock musician finished her performance without a single turn from any of the coaches.
The rocker gave a pretty good performance. However, she had some tuning issues throughout the song. Gonzalez tried hard and did her best to deliver a confident performance, but it was not enough.
The coaches gave some input on her performance when the song was completed and they got to know the performer. Michael Bublé was not confident in his ability to coach a rock musician and didn’t think he was the best coach for her. Thus, he expressed that he was hoping someone else would turn their chair and add her to their team.

Furthermore, Stefani was encouraging yet truthful with the hopeful as she stated, “She’s so close.” Additionally, she did what the coaches normally do in this situation. Stefani expressed that Gonzalez should keep practicing and then come back to The Voice again.
The sassy singer from New York City didn’t leave empty-handed as she got to perform with the judge of choice. Gwen Stefani was more than happy to perform with Crystalla. The two sang “Just A Girl.” Their voices fit well together and they didn’t seem to miss a beat. It almost sounded as if this was a practiced performance.
Nevertheless, this could be the push Gonzalez needs to work harder and then come back to win the series next season. Either way, it seems a good season is in store for fans.
