Just days after reports claimed that the singer had taken out a $40 million insurance policy on her legs, Swift’s cat Meredith decided to use one of them as her own personal scratching post.

In an Instagram photo shared on Saturday, Swift revealed that one of her supposedly astronomically appraised appendages had fallen victim to her pet’s claws. The wound will cost the kitty big time, Swift writes:
