Taylor Swift Performs Surprise Mashup of ‘Come Back…Be Here’ and ‘Daylight’ at Final Melbourne Eras Tour Show for Travis Kelce

The Melbourne crowds were the largest of Swift’s 18-year career, totaling roughly 288,000 people for three sold-out nights.

The singer, 34, surprised the sold-out crowd with a mashup of “Come Back…Be Here” from her Red album and “Daylight” from Lover — causing many of the 96,000 people to yell in unison upon hearing the bridge of the latter song pop up unexpectedly.

The mashup inside Melbourne Cricket Ground was part of the “surprise songs” segment of her three-hour setlist. At every Eras show, the 14-time Grammy winner handpicks two songs that aren’t already on the setlist to play that night — one on piano and one on guitar.

It’s rare for Swift to deliver a mashup like she did for Sunday’s crowd.

Though rare, this was the second night in a row that the “Mastermind” singer gifted Swifties with a mashup. On Saturday, a guitar-wielding Swift combined “Getaway Car,” “August” and “The Other Side of the Door.”

The Melbourne audiences were the largest of Swift’s 18-year career, and she made sure to acknowledge the milestone.

At the Sunday show, Swift thanked the roughly 288,000 people who attended the Eras Tour from Feb. 16-18.
