Jason Kelce is jumping on the bandwagon of Taylor Swift fans making fun of his brother Travis Kelce’s latest fashion choices.
The Kansas City Chiefs star stepped out in some sort of style for an NBA Playoffs game on Sunday, May 26, where he donned a white t-shirt with a shiny red apple placed front and center with a pair of jeans that were completely covered in alternating slash marks reminiscent of a steel diamond floor pattern.
“what…did taylor[‘s] cats do with his jeans?” one fan joked on X, reposting a photo of the tight end sitting between quarterback Patrick Mahomes and wide receiver Marquise Brown, as they suggested that one of the megastar’s three pets were responsible for the tears in the pants. Another joked that it was “designer” alongside a photoshopped photo of Swift’s cat Olivia with a pair of scissors and a strip of measuring tape, while someone else joked that “Benji woke up and chose violence” and another determined that it “was definitely Meredith.”
“They were mad he was leaving them alone,” someone else joked, while another predicted that the recently retired Eagles legend was “going to have a freaking field day with these”-and they weren’t wrong.
Jason retweeted the original post, writing, “Now that’s funny!” as he got in on the fun, sparking a whole new slew of jokes in his own replies. “But why didn’t Travis fix Travis’ jeans?” one replied in a play on the New Heights fandom’s favorite joke, “Why didn’t Jason bring jeans for Jason?”
