Steve Harvey throws cue cards and acts confusing on stage as Family Feud fans think he’s ‘given up’

Steve Harvey throws his cue card and storms off stage as Family Feud fans think he ‘quit’

LONGTIME TV host Steve Harvey has called it a day in disbelief at a Family Feud survey’s results.

When a contestant’s answer he was sure was wrong technically qualified as correct, he simply couldn’t take it.

Steve, 66, read the question to recent the Family Feud survey, which seemed to be soliciting NSFW guesses like many prompts.

He read: “What’s something people run across their lips?”

Jim confidently guessed a more literal interpretation, saying: “Gravy.”

Steve sat down on the podium, laughing, sure the answer would not be one of them.

He said: “You’re just trying to give the safest answer you can.

You know good and damn well that ain’t up there.”

However, the answer qualified as “Food/Juicy cherry” on the board with two votes.

Steve silently walked off the set and threw his card away, disappearing backstage after it counted.

‘STEVE HAS GIVEN UP’

The game show shared the clip on Instagram where fans joked it seemed like it was the beloved host’s last straw.

One person commented: “Steve Harvey be like: Nah I’m resigning.”

Another wrote: “He said, ‘I’m out.’

A third wrote: “Ain’t no way that’s up there!”

A fourth wrote: “LMAO THROWS THE CARD,” and a fifth said: “He was done.”

A sixth wrote: “Steve has given up at this point,” and a seventh wrote: “Steve sees food on the board, he’s like ‘I quit!'”

One more user wrote: “Steve be like: ‘This is it! I’m out now… You just have crashed my expectations.'”

Yet someone else defended that the response just threw him off because answers have become so regularly risque: “Why do all the questions gotta be sexual tho?”

SHE SAID WHAT?

Steve recently gasped in shock when a contestant popped off with a NSFW answer to his question.

He told the completing participants: “Name something you like soft but firm.”

Contestant Shiela was first to the buzzer, but seemed hesitant as she answered: “The P-word.”

The fan-favorite comedian repeated: “The P-word?” before leaning in close, with a knowing smile, and waited for her to elaborate.

Not wanting to say the word, the embarrassed contestant told Steve: “I’m a little Christian girl.”

Finally, Shela worked up the courage and whispered into the mic: “Would it be a p*nis?”

At that, Steve’s restrained smile immediately turned into a full-fledged grin.

The answer board then revealed: “Guy’s ‘Shlong'” to be fifth on the list of gathered answers, confirming Shiela’s “P-word” guess as correct.

In the post’s comment section, one fan wrote: “Steve’s face is like, ‘Now you know you have to clarify,'” followed by a pair of laughing face emojis.

“Steve is like “C’mon, don’t be shy,” commented another.

While a third fan commented: “Not so Family anymore.”

STEVE’S WINNING LIFE STORY

Steve is a comedian famed for the Miss Universe competition and a long list of TV shows, including The Steve Harvey Morning Show, The Steve Harvey Talk Show, and Little Big Shots.

He has also appeared in movies, including Racing Stripes, Love Don’t Cost A Thing, and You Got Served.

Steve was born in Welch, West Virginia, on January 17, 1957, to coal miner dad Jesse Harvey and mom Eloise Vera.

But Steve’s early days in showbiz didn’t come easy.

The multi-talented TV personality once shared his struggles on Hoda Kotb’s Making Space podcast.

In an emotional interview, the star explained that in 1985, he won $50 at his first-ever try at stand-up comedy.

“I went to work the next day, quit my job,” he told Hoda. “Told everyone I was a professional comedian.”

“And you just kept at it?” Hoda asked.

“Well, I became homeless,” Steve said flatly. “I was living in a car for three years.”

He added: “I never believed in a plan B. Everybody that I know that has had a plan B has had to use it.

“Because if you have a plan B, you can’t give your all to plan A.”

Steve has since made it in comedy and then some – he’s a household name.

He reportedly makes $10million per year hosting Family Feud, according to International Business Times.
