Golden State Warriors news: The sad reality we are all living in right now is that the clock is ticking for both Stephen Curry and LeBron James. The greatest shooter of all time might have a couple of years on the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, but what cannot be denied is the fact that we are all witnessing the final few remaining seasons of these two all-time greats.

As such, it comes as no surprise that Curry has already been making the necessary moves to secure his post-NBA future once he retires.

Golden State Warriors News: Stephen Curry Teaming Up With Sony for New Film

Curry is without a doubt one of the most renowned sports personalities on the planet. As such, it only makes sense for him to capitalize on his fame by entering the world of Hollywood.

Steph won’t be appearing in front of the camera as an actor, though — as far as we know, at least. Instead, he’s going behind the scenes to produce quality films that will, of course, have the objective of securing Curry’s financial future after life in the NBA.

According to a report by Angelique Jackson of Variety, Curry and his Unanimous Media production company have agreed to team up with Sony Pictures to produce an animated sports comedy film entitled GOAT.

Not too many details are currently available about the upcoming movie except for the target release date of February 13, 2026. Incidentally, this falls in line with the All-Star weekend in Los Angeles scheduled on the same weekend two years from now.

For what it’s worth, LeBron also has a production company of his own, SpringHill Company,  which was one of the companies that was behind Space Jam: A New Legacy. The main difference is that James starred in that movie. Perhaps this could be something to consider for Steph in the future?
