Taylor Swift has made some references to her new beau, Travis Kelce, on her newly-released album.

The pop star’s highly-anticipated “The Tortured Poets Department” has finally dropped. As expected, most of it seems to be about her ex-boyfriends, including Joe Alwyn and Matty Healy.

But, given that she’s with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end now, he was always going to come up.

As noted by BroBible.com, the album’s 15th track, “Alchemy,” has multiple Kelce references.

One verse goes:

So when I touch down

Call the amateurs and cut ’em from the team

Ditch the clowns, get the crown

Baby, I’m the one to be

‘Cause the sign on your heart

Said it’s still reserved for me

Honestly, who are we to fight thе alchemy?

Another goes:

Shirts off, and your friends lift you up, over their heads

Beer stickin’ to the floor, cheers chanted ’cause they said

“There was no chance trying to be the greatest in the league”Where’s the trophy? He just comes, running over to me

Breaking Taylor Swift’s Lyrics Down

The “touch down” bit is definitely a nod to Travis. But, if you’re not sure, “Call the amateurs and cut ’em from the team” suggests that she’s cut off her former love interests for the Pro Bowler.

As for “Ditch the Clowns, get the crown,” that part could be about him helping the Chiefs dispatch the San Francisco 49ers en route to a Super Bowl win.

Where’s the trophy? He just comes, running over to me” is pretty much what happened after the Chiefs won the big game in February, so she’s leaving very little to speculation.

It appears Kelce has finally made it into Taylor Swift lore, joining several other dudes who have had the 34-year-old make songs about them.
