Shocking Confession: Taylor Swift Admits She Started Dating Travis Kelce to Cure Boredom, But Fell in Love Over Time – ‘It Wasn’t Love at First Sight’
A man has been charged with making a ‘terroristic threat’ after allegedly threatening to shoot Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes at the Morgan Wallen concert at Arrowhead Stadium on Friday night.
Chiefs stars Kelce and Mahomes walked Wallen on stage for the performance at Arrowhead Stadium. According to Just Jared, Kelce and Mahomes were the players mentioned in the tweet noticed by police overseeing security for the event but a statement from prosecutors only says the threats were made at ‘two members of the Chiefs organization’.
A statement from Jean Peters Baker, Jackson County Prosecutor said that Aaron Brown of Winchester, Illinois, was charged after police saw his tweet on Friday night. Brown was also at the Wallen show with his girlfriend.
‘Officers were monitoring threats at a planned concert when they observed on X (Twitter) a threat against two individuals, who were members of the Kansas City Chiefs organization, were present at the event,’ the statement said.
‘The defendant confirmed to police where he was located at Arrowhead. The concert was delayed for 40 minutes while the defendant was located.’ Police documents say Brown has deleted the tweet and told officers ‘it was a stupid, stupid, stupid mistake.’
His girlfriend apparently told him not to post the tweet but he still did so and told her that nobody would see it. Chiefs quarterback Mahomes was at the concert with his wife Brittany. Kelce is dating Taylor Swift but she is currently in Europe on her hugely successful Eras Tour.
‘The defendant confirmed to police where he was located at Arrowhead. The concert was delayed for 40 minutes while the defendant was located,’ the prosecutor’s statement said. ‘The defendant was charged earlier today and a $15,000 bond was set. Prosecutors requested a $250,000 cash bond.’
Wallen took the stage wearing a No 7 Chiefs jersey, the same number as Mahomes and Kelce’s controversial teammate Harrison Butker. Wallen’s jersey, however, had his own name on the back instead of Butker’s.
