The Season 2 finals of Jeopardy! Masters is set to air on Wednesday night, and Season 1 competitors Andrew He and Sam shared a hilarious clip ahead of the new episode.
The special tournament sees six of the show’s top players competing round-robin style to find the best of the best.
Last year, Sam and Andrew competed against James, Matt Amodio, Mattea Roach, and Amy Schneider.
This year, though, only Sam and Andrew did not return and were instead replaced by Victoria Groce and Yogesh Raut.
While they’re not competing in Season 2, fans have still been able to keep up with the duo in a series of fun videos.
Most recently, Jeopardy shared a blooper clip on Instagram of the two talking about this season’s current contestants ahead of the finals featuring James, Yogesh, and Victoria.
The video edited together various moments of both Sam and Andrew begging producers not to use certain soundbites from their interview.
“Don’t use that,” Sam continued to say, laughing, before Andrew wagged his finger and said, “Don’t use that one, though.”
Sam switched it up with the phrasing at one point and said, “I don’t feel like you need to include that one, though.”
Finally, at the end, one of Sam’s actual comments made the cut – and it was about another one of the show’s champs.
“James isn’t better, I mean, he’s not better than us,”he teased, earning a laugh from Andrew. “We’re better than he is.”
“Did you guys get that one? ‘Cause you can use that one, if you like,” he told producers.
HAPPY FANS
“Sam is so funny,” one fan wrote on the post. “I just love the way Jeopardy has branched out into the different competitions with the different personalities.”
“I also love seeing the camaraderie between former contestants and how they’ve collaborated into new ventures,” the user added. “Bring it!”
“Sam is way better than James,” a second fan teased. “Fight me.”
“Sam and Andrew are the best,” a third fan commented.
“Can’t get enough of these two,” a fourth insisted.
“Jeopardy has a whole new thing going on now,” another said. “They have made us fall in love with some of these champs and I’m here for it!!!”

SINGING THEIR PRAISES

They danced and lip-synced to the Muni Long song, Made for Me, which has gone viral on social media with best friends making videos to it.
