‘Wheel Of Fortune’ Fans Slam Pat Sajak, Say He’s Not Leaving

While it has only been a little over a month since Wheel Of Fortune fans saw Pat Sajak’s final spin, things seem to be not so “final” now. Fans think that Pat may be pushing it by making a return so quickly. Some fans are slamming him for not leaving after announcing his return.

Undeniably, it was difficult for Vanna White and a big American viewership to say goodbye to Wheel Of Fortune host, Pat Sajak, after four decades. Likewise, the transition for Ryan Seacrest entering as the new host has been a bit rocky. Additionally, the 77-year-old already had plans after leaving the show to use his stage talent to perform for a play. But before anyone can truly miss Pat, he is already making his comeback. Seemingly, he can’t stay away because there are now plans for his return shortly. However, fans are slamming him for never leaving.

Pat Sajak Announces Return

Many people wonder if Pat Sajak can even claim retirement because he has already announced his return for the Fall. Although Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White have begun filming for the next season, Pat had a trick up his sleeve. Surprisingly, Pat will be having another “final spin” as the host of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune. When the announcement came out last week it was a shock for many fans. While some fans are excited the legend will continue, others are slamming him for not giving any breathing room to truly be in retirement.

One fan is ecstatic that Pat Sajak is making a comeback. On Instagram, they say, “PAT’S STILL GOT SOME WHEEL LEFT IN HIM YAAAAAS!!! Now to become a celebrity before he retires from CWOF… 😂”
 “Holy cow, we got one more time with the Sajak, but in prime time,” another Wheel fan says.
Another user adds, “It will be nice to see Pat one last time! I can’t wait! 🔥.”
“And here I thought last season was Pat’s last time hosting @celebritywheeloffortune but I guess this season will be. Interesting how this will be going on at the same time that @ryanseacrest is the new host of regular @wheeloffortune. But in any case at least folks will get a little more Pat and @officialvannawhite once more before Ryan takes over on CWOF too the following season.”

But other Wheel Of Fortune fans are criticizing Pat Sajak for coming back before he even gives retirement a chance. While he isn’t completely “unretired” he is not nearly as “retired” as people initially believed.

“How can we miss him if he won’t leave?!” one person points out on X.
 “Pat Sajak pulling a Tom Brady,” as they joke about the NFL player who rethought his “retirement” in 2023.

Another person quips, “Schrödinger’s retirement.”
“What is it with these old people not wanting to give up their jobs? All I thought about when I was working, was retiring.”
Someone else on X says, “SOME PEOPLE JUST CAN’T QUIT.”
