Gwen Stefani was left in tears during a live interview on UK TV after receiving a huge surprise.
The chart topper put on an emotional display during an appearance on the BBC’s hit chat show The One Show after hosts Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas produced an unexpected video.
The BBC hosts shared a clip from one of the Hollaback Girl singer’s biggest inspirations, singer Pauline Black from 2 Tone ska revival band the Selecter,
In the brief clip, Pauline said: “Hi Gwen, it’s Pauline. I am absolutely thrilled that I influenced you and your music.”
Before finishing off her sweet message to Gwen saying: “Sending you lots of love.”

After watching the sweet clip from her idol, the Rich Girl singer seemed to be taken back as she wiped tears away from her eyes.
“I could cry right now,” Gwen said as she held back the tears, before adding: “Zoom in guys, these are real tears.”
As Gwen composed herself hosts Alex and Jermaine pointed out that she was shaking.
“I can’t believe that. That is incredible,” the songwriter emotionally added.
“We can understand why,” Jermaine remarked before Gwen quipped back: “No you don’t understand anything, she was my idol when I was 13 and she just talked to me.”
“You don’t understand because the music was very underground…we discovered it,” she continued.
“And nobody knew what it was and the fact that you know, they were singing about London, they were singing about Camden and the culture so I became like a huge fan.
“Never thinking I’d come here, let alone being on TV right now with you guys.
“And then watching her talk to me on TV. That was weird. Thank you, guys,” a grateful Gwen shared.
