OLYMPIC champions shared a kiss after winning gold just weeks after breaking up from a relationship.

Czech stars Katerina Siniakova and Tomas Machac had been dating since 2020 but split last month.

The pair continued to play together for the Paris Olympics as Siniakova insisted they would remain “professional”.

They managed to win gold in the mixed doubles over Chinese team Zhang Zhizhen and Wang Xinyu.

The final went the distance as the Czechs won the tennis clash 6-2, 5-7 and 10-8.

However, after their victory, they appeared to be closer than ever as they shared a kiss on the court.

The snog has now led fans to speculate whether they have rekindled their relationship while in France.

One posted: “We all need to participate in an Olympics to spice up our relationships sometimes.”

A second wrote: “She said, ‘you’ve got to help me win the Olympic gold medal to win me back’ and he delivered.”

A third commented: “It’s so poetic if they really had broken up and these last days of winning and getting the gold eventually brought them back together.”

Machac has confirmed that they are sleeping separately at the Olympic Village.

But it has been insisted that they have a “very good” chemistry.

When asked about their potential romantic reunion, Siniakova insisted on being coy.

She said: “That’s our personal life so you don’t need to know that.

“We like it when you are confused.”

While Machac admitted that it would be “top secret”.
