Robert Griffin III Makes His Thoughts Clear About Taylor Swift
The NFL got the love story they wanted during the 2023 season as Kansas City’s star tight end Travis Kelce began a relationship with music phenom Taylor Swift.
Kelce and Swift’s romance first gained steam at the start of the regular season and the latter became a fixture at Chiefs’ games.
Robert Griffin III credited Swift for helping increase the league’s popularity, but also made an astute point about how she’s viewed via his personal Twitter account.
“Taylor Swift has done wonders for the NFL bringing more eyes to the sport, but the NFL and Travis Kelce have also done something major. Humanized her even more,” Griffin said.

Swift was often shown on television broadcasts and jumbotrons, and that often times caused some fans and analysts to groan about having to see her face so much.
However, there is a large contingent of fans who supported seeing Swift at games as it brought more eyes and attention to the league.
Swift even made the long trek back to Las Vegas to see Kansas City and Kelce capture Super Bowl LVIII against the San Francisco 49ers.

Big stars like Swift aren’t thought of as normal people, but seeing her at the stadium cheering on Kelce and the Chiefs made her more relatable to the average fan.
As Griffin pointed out, Swift was seen joining in on the cheering and even chugged a beer to the delight of everyone who watched.
