Richard Sherman broke his silence following his DUI

FORMER NFL legend Richard Sherman opened up about his absence from Fox Sports network following his DUI.

The 35-year-old ex-NFL star turned sports media personality shared an update on his social media account suggesting his absence from FS1’s Undisputed is unrelated to his DUI.

Sherman has not appeared on the show since being arrested for the incident back on February 24 by a Washington State trooper.

Sherman was off the show the following week and has been gone since.

However, Sherman responded to a fan’s tweet last Wednesday, complaining that Undisputed hasn’t been good and that he misses him on the show.

Sherman confirmed he would be back on air and said this was always the plan when he got with the network.

“I will be back. This was the plan all along,” Sherman tweeted.

“When football topics are getting hotter. I will be back.”

Sherman also works as an analyst for Amazon Prime’s “Thursday Night Football” pregame and postgame show.

He completed his second season with the network this past year.

Sherman joined FS1’s Undisputed before the start of the last NFL season after the network loss Skip Bayless’s longtime cohost Shannon Sharpe after a dispute that sent him to ESPN.

The network also signed ex-NFL star Keysahwn Johnson, Micahel Irvin, Lil Wayne, and NBA reporter Rachel Nichols to do the show.

When Sherman signed, Andrew Marchand reported that fans should expect to see the former Pro Bowler “around 50-100 shows per year, mostly during football season.”

Sherman played 11 seasons in the NFL for the Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

He won a Super Bowl, made five Pro Bowls, and was a three-time All-Pro after being selected in the fourth round of the 2011 draft.
