REBA McEntire has revealed that she is nervous for The Voice finale as she expects an emotional parting from her contestants.

Season 25 of the singing competition concludes with the second installment of the series’ two-part finale airing May 21.

Reba, 69, with two contestants left in the running, shared her concerns in a candid conversation this week.

“I’m a little emotional. It’s a little nerve-wracking because we’re turning it over to America — America votes now,” she told People ahead of the season end.

“It’s not us selecting who gets to move forward, so we’re very protective of our contestants, of our artists. And we’ll be there for them whether they move forward or not,” the country music star added.

Team Reba consists of competitors Asher HaVon and Josh Sanders, who will now rely on America’s votes to nab the win.

BACK IN ACTION

Reba has coached The Voice for two seasons and recently announced her return for Season 26.

The Queen of Country will be back in her red chair next to her future co-hosts, Gwen Stefani, Snoop Dogg, and Michael Bublé.

The I’m a Survivor singer also discussed how The Voice has influenced her musical career since joining the judging panel.

Reba spoke about her latest single, I Can’t, which is a preview of her forthcoming new album.

“We’ve been working on it for a while now, getting the songs ready, recording with Dave Cobb,” she revealed.

“Not sure when it’s going to come out yet. We’re waiting to see when the climate’s right, when the timing’s right.”

When looking for new music to write or record, Reba told the outlet that she “looks for a song that just touches my heart.”

The Season 25 finale of The Voice kicked off last night.

Coaches Reba, Chance the Rapper, Dan + Shay, and John Legend supported their remaining contestants as they took the stage for one of their final performances.

REBA IN LOVE

Apart from her role on the singing show, the country music icon has captured the attention of fans lately through her romance with actor Rex Linn, 67.

The couple’s relationship began on the set of the sitcom Young Sheldon, where they were co-stars.

The show’s leading actor, Iain Armitage, 15, spoke about Reba and her man while on Live! With Kelly and Mark the day of the Young Sheldon series finale.

Surprisingly, he said on camera, “I like to kind of claim partial credit for Miss Reba McEntire and Mr. Rex Lynn being together.

“Because they didn’t meet on our show but they sort of reconnected on our show.”

He continued, “Miss Reba has been on our show before, and obviously, Mr. Rex, and they are both so kind.”

“I like to say I am kind of like their adopted son!” he gushed, leaving Kelly Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos, to burst into laughter.

MEANT TO BE

Reba and Rex have been dating since 2020, though they met nearly 30 years prior for the first time.

The couple reconnected when the country singer was guest-starring on an episode of Young Sheldon, and the actor invited her out to dinner afterward.

But The Voice coach was too tired at the time, so they planned to meet in Los Angeles a week later.

“I don’t know what it was, but timing is everything,” Reba previously shared.

“It was just like a magnet. I had to get in there and see him.”

The You Lie singer claimed they have been inseparable ever since.
